Uncle Josh's Petting Zoo

There is a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episode with "Goffy's Petting Zoo" (one of Gage's very favorites). So, when he heard we were visiting Uncle Josh in Wichita and going to the zoo, he couldn't quit talking about "Uncle Josh's Petting Zoo"! He had a BLAST petting and feeding the goat and sheep. He was so happy he kept saying "Hi, Goat", "Hi, Sheep", "Hi, Buddy!"

Pearce and Gage were soooo excited to see each other. They wanted to be around each other every chance they got. Gage even was "talking in his sleep" at naptime after the zoo, saying Pearce, Cami, farm animals!

One of the coolest things I have ever done (and Gage loved it too!) We actually got to feed giraffes (or "G-raffes" as Gage says). Gage even put the food out in his hand and let the giraffe lick it out at the very end! He was very proud of himself. He kept saying, "I feed the G-raffe in my hand, mommy! I did it!". Gage and I both got our enitre head licked by the giraffe in this picture. Ask "Uncle Kim" and she will tell you that their tongues are big enought to lick an entire adult head in one swipe!:) UGHH!:)

After watching the penguins, the kids lined up to see which type of penguin matched their height the best! Can you tell we had a blast?!:)
